VIDYALAYA - Youth Education
A key aspect of our community is providing opportunities for youth to learn about their culture, heritage, and traditions. The Eastern Iowa Hindu Temple & Cultural Center supports this through our unique Vidyalaya program. The program helps young people explore cultural traditions, stories, values, customs, and community heritage in an engaging and age-appropriate environment.
Through these activities, youth are encouraged to develop confidence, character, respect, compassion, and a strong sense of community. Parents are welcome to participate alongside their children and benefit from the program as well. We offer three levels, with curriculum designed appropriately for each age group.
